I had to do some shopping, so Mal met me at the mall around 5pm and then we went to my secret place, haha. Well, I'm not proud about saying it, but we did something bad... in order to rent an original DVD, we bought 2 at the black market.... Yes, shame on me, but with the money we would have spent in 1 ticket, we got 2 movies :P In our way home, we stopped at the supermarket and got some stuff to prepare our snacks for the movie night.
We got fruits and fixed a really fresh and tasty salad. It had pineapple, pepino, apple and strawberries. Gunther was at the kitchen and wanted to get some fruits too. Yes, he's a strange dog. He loves fruits!!! We prepared a big bowl of fruit salad to eat. And what to drink? Well, not alcohol tonight. We are in Peru, so the logic answer is: Inca Kola!!! We took everything and brought it upstairs. Gunther didn't want to be left alone, so I gave him a treat, haha.
First we would watch the classic film. Yes, "Casablanca" is a classic, but none of us had watched it before. Actually this is how everything started. Last time, when we realized we had never watched that movie, we decided to get together and watch it, hehe. I liked it! We enjoyed watching the movie while we were tasting our delicious fruit salad.
It was still early and we had a 2nd movie waiting for us. This time it was a light one, a comedy "What happens it Vegas". But before starting to watch it, we went downstairs to get more snacks. My mom just came back from Cusco a couple of days ago and brought tamales. So we just reheat them and brought them upstairs :) It was first time Mal was trying this kind of tamales and liked them :P Also I found some wawa - the wawa is a sweetbread - and the fruits Jered left last time. We took everything and went back upstairs. Well, this movie was a fun one, haha. We laughed and had a great and relaxing time.
It was 11 something when the movie was over. We chatted for a little bit, but was time to say goodbye. Next morning I had to wake up really early and needed to go to bed. It would be a long day, had to do some stuff during the day, plus Jered and Lance would be back in town and it would be Pisco Sours time, yay!
