A bbq without a grill, but tons of fun... :)

A while ago Christian arrived to Lima and was supposed to stay in town just for a weekend, but he decided to move to Lima. This happened almost 1 month ago and since then we became really good friends. Furthermore, we are part of a gang that is hanging out together most of the time and having fun! Well, this time Christian decided to organize a bbq at his place - on the roof of the building where he's living.  I'm writing about it here, since some TB's were invited and attended to it. I was sure it would be so much fun. The party didn't have any dress code beside the fact everyone had to wear a funny hat. It wasn't a piece of cake to get the perfect hat but I finally found something! :)

This day was a really long one, I was showing around Lima to a TB (John) - who also attended to the bbq and was back home at 5pm. I called Christian, who asked me to go to the department asap, since the guard didn't allow him to go to the roof and needed someone who talked to him in Spanish. So I just packed my outfit. John and me left and arrived to Christian's around 6pm. There were bad news, going to the roof wasn't even an option. We should hang out at his apartment. It wouldn't have been a problem, but we were talking about a small apartment and about 40 guests!!!

Oh well, just try to do our best and have a great time! Everyone was wearing a funny hat as requested, well most of the people. Just Jude & me were the only ones wearing a whole outfit, hilarious! Christian was the sheriff of the party and Jude was a little Indian :) and me... well, just take a look at the pics. Boots were nice but my feet were killing me after a couple of hours just standing, hahaha. But, fashion is fashion ;)

The apartment was full of people and it was incredibly hot inside. Police came to tell us to turn down the volume since the neighbors were complaining, but... it was Saturday and it wasn't even 8pm!!! Crazy!!! People kept on arriving and everyone was having fun. There were a lot of people I haven't seen in my whole life, but there were some familiar faces too. And of course, the gang was partying together, yay!!!!

At 8:30pm Christian and Jude came with a Birthday cake for me. Awwww, that's so sweet. I wasn't expecting that at all. That was a big surprise. Thank you so much guys!!! You are the best!!! Unfortunately this party was getting out of control. .. Too many people we didn't know and we were told by the police they would give Christian a fine if party went too loud... what to do? well, we were just a few blocks away from Tayta, where we could dance too, so better move the party there.

People started to leave and go to the bar. By 11pm there were at the apartment just 8 people. We started to clean it. It's not fun at all waking up with a hangover and see your place messy and dirty... Our first idea was going  to Tayta, but Matt had some friends at Huaringas and I can't say no to Huaringas aka Pisco Place. Actually just this week, I was there 3 times, lol! Ok, let's go there, but to make things funner, Jude and me would keep our outfits, hahaha.

We arrived to Huaringas around 1am. The guy at the door looked at Jude and me and asked if we were going to a "Bachelor party" since that was forbidden, what?!?! We were just having fun wearing these outfits, hahaha. We met Matt's friends, but the place was packed. It took us quite a long time and a few funny looks getting a table, but we finally succeded, yay! We were at the Pisco place, so we ordered Piscos!!! Matt's friends had to leave and we kept the big table :P We were tired and just wanted to chill out there while we were enjoying our tasty piscos. We were just chatting and relaxing. Party was really crazy and needed to rest a bit. Some piscos later, it was already 3 something. Time flew! And people were waiting for us at Tayta!!!

Sorry, but I was so tired I didn't go to Tayta. Yes, unbelievable. It doesn't sound me at all... I woke up early, had a busy day and another busy day was waiting for me on Sunday... No regrets at all! I had an awesome time! Yes, party might have been out of control, but we could find the way to have fun and the after party was really great too!!! Can't wait to meet the gang again, hey! I did it the day after, hahaha.
