Last night I met Samer briefly. I had already plans and so he did. Before leaving we agreed to have lunch together, but I didn't hear from him during the morning, so I supposed he had a very long night partying, hahaha. Well thought he did so. Anyway, I made plans for lunch and while I was having lunch, he called me. Oooops! No problem, we'd meet later that day. I recommended him to visit downtown and give me a call when he was back. I was assuming, he'd do it around 5, but it was 8 when I finally heard from him, hahaha. He just arrived to his hotel to see his bag didn't arrive. Taca lost it! Fortunately, he had insurance, so it would be shopping time, yay! We met at a department store and after shopping, we met 2 other friends of him and all together went for dinner.

Where to go? I suggested Larcomar, since Samer wouldn't have other opportunity to see it - well during this first visit to Lima, because he loved the city so much, he wants to come back, hope he does it!!! The views were awesome as usual.

And as usual, I was playing tour guide, hahaha. We were taking some pictures and then we went to the restaurant. I wasn't sure if the guys would like the anticuchos (cow's heart), so better go for something safer: chicken.

We went to Pardo's chicken. The place was a bit crowded, but we got a nice table next to the window, so we got an awesome view, yay! Anyway, instead of ordering the chicken we ordered a platter that has chicken, but also anticuchos and mollejitas (gizzards) hahaha. Pisco Sour? not this time, after a long party, the guys wanted to take things easier this time, hahaha. So we got chicha morada - a peruvian soft drink - and Inca Kola, yay!

The waiter came with the drinks first and then with the food. Now, Samer and Mike should try the anticuchos and mollejitas. Well, no need to say they were pretty scared about that, hahaha.

But they tried them and... they liked it, well at least the anticuchos. Mike really likes it, Samer so so. But none of them liked the gizzards, well more for me, hahaha. I gave Samer my chicken and got the gizzards, hahaha. Mike moved to Lima recently and is still discovering the city. So far, he likes it, yay!!!!

We were chatting and chilling out. It was fun to talk to them and get their impressions of the country. Samer had an exciting trip planned, starting tomorrow with the Nazca lines. That would be wonderful. Can't wait to hear his impressions. We drove back to the center of Miraflores, walked a bit around and it was time to leave.
my lovely present!!!
The boys had to wake up tomorrow early. If they came back early, we'd meet for a pisco sour.

next day...
too bad they didn't come back early. Well bad because I couldn't meet Samer, before he leaves Lima, but good because he had lots of fun in Nazca & Ica!!! In my way back home I stopped at his hotel to leave him a message and he left a little present for me to remember him. Thank you so much!!!! San Francisco is now part of my dream destinations. I'd love to meet you in your hometown or anywhere else!!!! Oh well, Samer left Lima, but I got a new friend in San Francisco and 2 others in Lima!!! You never have enough friends ;)
