I'm gonna miss my little Rom... but I'll see him soon, here or there
Wow, it's incredible how this site really works. Almost 1 year ago I met Romain through a TB who was spending a couple of days in Lima. She left the city, but left me a new and good friend. Romain is a French guy who moved to Peru and decided to live here. Unfortunately, he had to fly back home but before that he'd take some time to explore the country. He was living in Peru for quite a long time and speaks Spanish really good - getting better daily - most of all he was feeling Peruvian, but I was always kidding saying he wouldn't be a Peruvian, until he visited Machu Picchu and so he did...

During the past year we have been hanging out a lot. He also joined me to several mini Meet Ups and of course attended to the Lima Meet Up. I introduced him to my friends and he introduced me to his.
kiss picture! he's gonna miss this pics...
He taught me about French wine, and I taught him about South American one. When we first met there were many things to teach him about Peru, but right now he knows a lot about our country, maybe more than some locals.

My family knows and like him. Furthermore I think he's the only person, whom Gunther never barked. Maybe because he's so tall that looks intimidating for the small Gunther, hehe. Last Friday his best friends organized a good bye party - actually it's not a good bye, just a see you later - in Miraflores. I think I can say that we are not just travbuddies, we became friends and of course I joined the party too.

Romain arrived around 11:30pm, almost everybody was already there wondering where he was.
who's the foreigner? ...
Well, his formers colleagues wanted to meet him too. We were chilling out on the roof of his old apartment, just chilling out, having a couple of drinks, but most important spending time with friends :)

We both weren't the only TB's there. Nelly joined us too and also Cinthia and Jenny, but they didn't stay long. Nelly arrived after work and staid until late, so did I, hehe. The common expresion of the night was: "I can't believe Romancito is leaving..." It feels strange not having him around, although we are in touch, better don't think about sad things, just focus on the good memories and fun time we shared :)... but I know that eventually he'll come back and reloaded.

In the meanwhile, he left me new friends and we all will be waiting for him in his second home :)
