This blog is the continuation on my almost endless blog "Meeting travbuddies". Same as the 1st one, it's about the people I met in real life through this page, but during my 2nd year as a TB, hehe. I hope this year would be as much fun as the last one, or maybe funner - if that's possible, hehe. Hopefully I can meet lot of people and help them as much as possible. :) Enjoy the blog :)

Endless day, now time to hang out in Barranco with Lance :)

nice shot of the church and nice people :)
Last time in Lima Lance didn't have chance to go Barranco, which is a Must if you have time to visit Lima. So, instead of hanging out in Miraflores, let's go to Barranco. I love the charming and laid back Barranco. The lights were so nice and it was really nice walking around. First we went to the Point View. The view was amazing and in our way we got nice shots of one of the churches.

While we were going to the square, we should cross the bridge. So I told Lance to do it without opening his eyes and make a wish. Of course he kept the wish secret, so it'd become true. After crossing the bridge, we started to get some pics, hehe. I was showing Lance around Barranco, which usually has a lot of pubs and bars packed and loud. But it was Tuesday and things were a bit slow.

We went to a place called "Backpackers" but was almost empty, mmm. Ok, let's go to the Angel's place. It has never let me down, no matter the day of the week. But in order to make something different let's go to another location. The Angel's Place has 3 locations in Barranco, just blocks away from each other, haha. So we went to the Posada del Angel II. This one is smaller than the one I usually visit, but has the same great atmosphere.

It was cozy and pefect to talk. It wasn't loud and there was a musician playing some music too. We ordered our beers. Lance got a dark Cuzquena and I got a Pilsen. The traditional Cuzquena is the yellow one, but we'd save it for tomorrow night at my bar :) Well, it was time to say cheers with Peruvian beer! We were just chatting and chilling out. Enjoying the good music and nice enviroment. So full of angels and cool decoration, haha. Lance had already a plan for the next morning. But what would we do later?

So, he added to his schedule: Call Yadi, and Centimos' night! Wed at my favorite bar means, getting 2 beers for the price of one + 1 cent, hehe. I had plenty of this little coins and Lance had 2 with him since the last time he was in Lima, haha. Well, it seemed to me we had plans for tomorrow. Another long day was coming...

New things for Lance: drinking a Cuzquena, visiting Barranco and asking for a wish! God, I'm a good guide ;)

Relaxed, bohemian bar - La Posada del Angel I
La Posada del Angel has 3 locations. All of them located in the bohemian Barranco. This one is the 1st one and is the smallest. I think when they started this business, didn't know it would be a big success. Same as the other locations it's perfect choice if you are looking for a relaxed and unique place to hang out with your friends and start the night or just want to have a laid-back evening in an enchanted atmosphere. But because of the size of this place, I'd recommend to arrive there early otherwise it'd be packed.

This is a small house. Don't expect many rooms as the others. This is mostly a big living room and a small second floor. But as the other locations this building has a lot of antiques, angels' paintings, and other things that make you forget time. It's dark and rustic, but cozy. If you like angels you'll find them here, everywhere you look.

They have live music daily and serve different drinks, but mostly Argentinean wine and beer. You can also grab a bite here. There is no Entrance Fee.

If you are looking for something different but small and cozy where you can enjoy a nice conversation with your friends, this is the place for you.
