Arranging things for Sat - chatting and laughing - with Mal what a surprise! :)
November 5, 2008
Last week Mal and I went to this Middle Eastern restaurant and noticed they have an Arabic Dance Show every Saturday. We decided to organize a Mini Meet Up there and after going to work I met Mal in order to go to this restaurant and see how we can do a reservation, hehe. We asked the waiter about how to book a table and he told us we just have to come early, how cool! We were leaving the place, but we both were hungry. What about having dinner there? Perfect! We tried the Arabian Platter. I know what to order on Sat. While we were there we checked the drinks selection - very good too. And also saw they have hookas - super! Now we know what we are gonna do on Sat with the whole gang, haha.
The food was delicious - as usual. Should I go back home? Well, Mal said the right words: "a drink at Tayta?" No needed to say anything else. We had a plan, haha. Although it was Wednesday there was a good crowd there. We were just having our beers and chatting. Remembering the fun Pisco & Empanadas night, and all the Mini Meet Ups we had in town recently. It's amazing the fact Malvin has been living here for almost 2 months and he came for the Meet Up in September, haha
We both realized he might not be in Lima when I come back from holidays in the States :( There are so many things we wanted to do. There are a couple of restaurants and places we want to visit. So next days might be busy ones, haha. After a couple of beers, listening to live music, lots of gossips and plans for the next Mini Meet Up...
I could hardly believe we spent almost 5 hours just chatting, haha. It was time to go home and catch up some sleep... I wanted to go straight to bed, but I met Eric online and we started to plan my next Michigan adventure. OMG! It might be freezing there...
