October 16, 2008
Finaly to the Victoria Fals... The place I realy wanted to go....
We left camp at 7AM afther breakfast... We were on the roads till the beginning of the day... We only stopped when it was importent... Afther we arrived at the Camp in the Fictoria Falls we sat up the tents and went to the booking office to book our actvities we liked to do during our stay for only two days.... It was to short and it was hard to choose... I did the Skydiving already, but I realy thought about to do it again... I also had Rafting in my head, but I knew I could only choose two actvities if I want to see the Victoria waterfalls.... I realy had to see them...
I choose for the actvities that,s realy africa and the actvities I can,t do in Europe or in other places.
.. I had booked the Elaphantwalk for during the urlie morning... I had to do it and experience it, because the Africa Elafant is bigger then the Asian one.... They planned it urlie in the morning, like 06.00 AM..... I knew that I had breakfast there during my actvity.... The other actvity was offcourse the "Lionwalk" I knew I had to do.... That was around 3PM.... Afther that we went back to the camps, but it was not easy with a lot African people around who want to sale things..... They wont get away and it was hard.... It was hard to say nooooo for me.... They sw that I had problems so they try to make up my mind al the time... We had diner in a special place in a great restaurant afther I swim in the great pool at camp... It was amazing, like a real holiday again...For diner we went to "The Boma". I had a wonderfull time out there and the foods was super jummy... I at Crocodile and Springbock etc and more wild stuff... THere were people playing and dancing for us... I had a wonderfull time there and we came back to camp around 11 PM... The Boma Restaurant in the Victoria Falls
The Boma is not just a great meal, but complete cultural Africa experience. They are specialising in a super selection of many different wild foods... They are famous for its game dishes, including warthog, steaks, ostrich, kebabs and kudu stews for example. The Boma also provides a wonderful variety of chicken, beef, pork and fish. A selection of hot vegetarian dishes and many salad chooses... I had a crocodile for the first time and I had a game buffet wild many wild animals... It was realy great....
Beside the great foods it looks very beatiful from the in and outside... The service is very good and you don,t have to wait to long.... I was in love with the place... It,s Africa in every way...
There is also entertainment there... They have, they called Shanaan and Ndebele dancers and singers, a local healer and a traditional storyteller. The Acclaimed 'Zambezi Drumbeat' provide a wonderful interactive drumming experience - encouraging all diners to participate in the evening festivities.... I had experience that during my diner and it was a great experience to drum all together and her the African people sing.... During that evening we had a facepainter on the table and that made the evening compleet.... It was onforgetteble and you need to go there while you are at the Victoria Falls... For tourist the place to be!
