The Table mountain walk!

They guide of the Tabele mountain hike tour picked us up urlie in the morning and we drove to the mountain... At 9AM we were there and it was the moment of truth... That day it was a nice temperature and we were there in the beginning climbing the mountain. It was a 2 our hike walk trip and in the beginning I was doing fin, but afther 10 minutes I had problems already... I was out of breath and I could not understand it... I,m a girl of sports back home and at the mountain out of breath.. It was not ok and I just started... Travelers of the group were saying that my breathing was wrong at the first place.. I had to do it in to the nose and not the mounth.....I was sooo frustrated and it was not getting better.

.. I did not forgot my Hyperventilation on the Dune 45 in Namibia..... I choose to walk back and cute the hike.... It was the best for now, but I was mad at myself and did not understand.. I,m a heathy girl.... I did a 10 minute walk and I was in the touristic place with many shops and I bought a ticket to get up otherwise and I had to...

I waited a hour to get on cablemachine that take you up in a few minutes, what ever you call it... At 11 PM I was on top and it was wonderful, amazing few... I saw the Roben iceland that was full with Raphits and it was not posible to go there.... I made great shots on top of beautiful Cape Town...  Around 12 AM the group of around the 7 people of 21 arrived on top and I was happy for them.

... The others did other activitys.... They were glad I went back, because it was very hard for them to..... We made a groupshot and wanted me to be in it and that was sooo sweet...

Longstreet, Greenpoint and going out with Cape Town people from TB

At 1PM we were back at the lodge and we went in to Cape Town..... It was very nice weather, just perfect for us.... We walked to longstreet and afther that we took the Taxi to Greenfield.... We stayed there for a while and had a great mail... We walked on the Western Boulevard and there were nice souveniers shops and restaurants... It was very touristic, but I had fun... On the streets were African bands singing and dancing.... I loved it.... Around 5 PM we went to longstreet to a marked nearby a churts with soooooo many souveniers.

Relaxing and enjoying the few!
..  It was hard to walk there and people were pouching me and trying to sell things.... In the Netherlands I never experienced it like that... They were trying that hard and sometimes I feeling not good... I knew they needed it bad and it was hard to tell a price... Out here in the Netherlands it has already a price... They had soooo many cool things.. I love African souveniers and I wanted to buy some things for my family and friends and offcourse myself! Tomorrow I wanted to more time before I,m off to the meet-up I planned at 4PM...

During the evening Nabilah and her friend picked me up and showd me around... These were cool and friendly people...Nabilah was such a sweetheart and made me feel very welcome and she was the best! The showd me beautiful spots and we went to Camps Bay with soooo many great restaurants and lounge spots.... I went to Tuscany Beach for a coctail callend the Matrix and had Sushi...Her friend Zayyaan from TB also from Cape Town....She was a sweet and friendly girl and it was realy great meeting her! The place were we were was very relaxing and it was sooo great..... Afther that we went to a nother place with life music.... I wanted to stay longer, but we had to go... Nabilah brought me back home and I knew we meet tommorow! These three people gave me a special evening in Cape Town already!

Wendy don't worry. You were in the desert in Namibia and Botswana for how many days? It is all a shock to the system. So you need time to recover. So don't worry about burning out on the mountain, it happens, I just think that you didn't have enough time for your body to recover from the desert.

Many years ago Long Street used to be unsafe. Even us locals avoided it. So it surprises me to hear of people going there now. mmmm the times are a changing.
