The Okvango Delta adenture part I
The Delta airplane flyght
Again a urlie start, breakfast at 6 AM and we drove 400km that day to Maun close at the Okavango Delta!...The reason that we are up every day is because we make long traveldays and we need to be at camp before it gets dark... It get,s dark before 6PM and we need to set up the tents etc... My guide is also a person that take the whole day to enjoy.... Most actvities vare planed also during the morning, because it,s to hot during the day.... Sooooo... It,s ok and you all Travelbuddys do understand why I have to get up that urlie all the time! That day was very hot and I had to drink a lot.... We did made stops, but were on the way till the midle of the day... We arrived at the Delta... It,s a very special place with lot,s of water etc.
The Okavango is a 1600 km long river that you can also find high in Angola, southern in to the Nanibish Caprivi Strip... It wil end in the Kalahari... The Okavango is in till the north of Botswana a tropic river. It,s also a great place for animals, like we see in the Krugerpark, but a lot less Lion, kitty kinds! Urlie the day we arrived at a place we planed to book all different airplans to fly over the Delta! When we Arrived we booked first the activity... It was planned around 4 PM. First we drink some cola and sat in a cafe.... The flyght was 1 hour and we had a plan that could take 6 people inc. the pilot..... I sat up front and it was a great experience again, but sometimes I got a loitle bit sich during the flyght.. It made a lot of turns and up and downs... The few was great, but he could go loiwer, but not did that... The first 15 minutes we saw no animals, but later on we did... I took pictures offcourse, but I expected more of the airplane trip... One person in my plan was so sick, she needed a bagg... Afther the flight we made some last pictures and went for a drink... We came back around dinertime and we sat again around the campfire what I realy miss now... Afther the camp I wen t to bed!
