From one side of Oz to the other

Broome Airport

departed home at Sunshine coast at 4am (shuttle bus to Brissie)............Arrived Broome at 7p.m.  15 hours to get from one side of Australia to the other (actually add on 2 more hours due to time difference...that makes it 17 B..#@!Y hours!)...What is that about?!?

I can tell you....it is about doing the flight as cheaply as possible!  I flew Brisbane to Sydney, Sydney to Perth, 4 hours at Perth airport HMMMMMM then FINALLY Perth to Broome!

Broome has a great laid back feel and the weather was warm but not too hot, Nice litle, modern airport. Caught bus to Cable Beach about 10 minutes away from main town and booked into Beaches of Broome. Excellent clean and modern accomodation only $40 per night for 3 bed dorm , and only 5 minutes walk from Cable beach. Met lots of nice people and sat up chatting enjoying the balmy evening.
