Tierra Santa and blood sausage
October 7, 2008
Today while out and about, we stumbled onto Tierra Santa and I was thrilled as this religious themepark was on my list! We stopped to chat with the sheppard and their sheep. It was closed so we took photos from the fence, really that was close enough.
For lunch I tried the typical blood sausage and well not so much. But I tried. Here its called morcilla. The other day at a French restaurant we ate Mollejas or "sweet bread" which my room mate informs me that on the farm she grew up on in NZ, this is also known as lamb testicles. Hmmm, the texture was different than anything I've tasted. Not sure I need to know.
