Buying wine in montepulciano

In montalcino you buy the very expensive brunello wines... and... in montepulciano ... the sometimes even better and beautifull vino nobile de montepulciano! Realy good wines for good prices! I stayed at the center of town in a small but lovely hotel/restaurant: Osteria del Borgo Via Ricci 7. The owner can write a permit to park your car up in the village (other tourists have to park their car down). The rooms are clean and have superb views! and you can drink good wines and good food in their little restaurant! Breakfast with the beautifull tuscan view is unforgettable!

I went to search for one of my favorite tuscan wines: villa st anna, poldo! That is realy like visiting heaven! I managed to find the winery and ... was led around by its owner!! The wine is difficult to find and enoteca's were sold out... so... i was very happy i could buy some wine here!!!
