Started off the trip heading down to stay at the Diplomat Country Club & Spa. This was a really nice place to stay at. Lots of helpful staff and the grounds were amazing. I am glad that I got to play a round of golf on their course before I left. I also got a massage from the spa side which was very relaxing. The hotel wasn't right on the beach it was about a five minute drive to get to the beach, but wasn't that bad. There were many restaurants near the hotel if you wanted something different from the hotel food. The beach was nice to hit and work on our tan. By going in May it wasn't too too hot but it was definately warm enough. The water wasn't too cold and the sand wasn't so hot it hurt to walk on it. There was also plenty of spots to find where you could put your stuff down and relax and relax we did. Pretty much stayed on the beach getting up just to get something to eat or drink.
