Off we were. My uncle and a good friend of mine dropped me and the rest of the family off at Schiphol Airport, and without any further delay we were on the plane to Hong Kong. This took us 11 hours, being folded in a chair. (you always see the little people are put op near the emergency exit :S ) We flew Cathay Pacific, but the service and entertainment wasn't what I was used to on those long flight (for example, in comparison to Singapore Airlines). So after 11 hours I was glad to get out, to have a 8 hour stopover in Hong Kong. Tried to get some more sleep (as you can see I have) and made some pictures. My new camera is working out fine, it's just hard to make a bad picture with all the technology they put in these days!
After having read almost 2 books, it was time to get onto the next flight, to Auckland NZ! Had a better flight this time, maybe just because I knew the final destination was getting closer.
We picked up the rental car on an industrial area nearby, it's a very nice and large Toyota Camry. And there we were ready to start exploring New Zealand, starting with Auckland!
