On my way to Lima, Peru, I was fortunate to attend the first of 3 consecutive TravBuddy meetups & spend a couple of days in sensational San Jose, Costa Rica with five wacky friends (including a light bulb named Bob). In a 36-hour period, we closed down two bars, reached the summit of Costa Rica's highest active volcano, explored San Jose's Central District, had more fun than any kids in the Children's Museum and recorded our first hit single, "Twist and Shout."

NOW, ITâ€S TIME TO SAY GOOD NIGHT

My time in San JosÃ© was short and sweet.

As I headed to the airport to fly to BogotÃ¡, I thought about all of the adventures I had shared with new TravBuddy friends I had met only 36 hours ago. I could almost hear the old Beatles song from the White Albumâ€¦
