Operating in the Western Pacific and the Indian ocean, the U.S. fleets covering 52 million square miles, with approximately 50 ships, 120 aircraft and 20,000 Sailors and Marines at any given time. Be back soon, but you can follow my journey here. NOTE: This is a work in progress.

Burial at Sea

Today, we committed 14 service members to the Sea, their final resting place.  May Davey Jones and King Neptunus Rex have mercy upon them and guide them in the after life.  We're somewhere off the southern coast of Hawaii.

"Eternal Father, strong to save.  Whose arm hath bound thy restless wave.  Oh, hear us, when we cry to thee; For those imperil on the sea."
Navy Hymn
