Medford, Oregon

Ever thought about taking a month off, and driving coast to coast? In the summer of 2006 we got to do just that! We traveled from Connecticut to the Pacific and back, visiting as many National Parks and Attractions as we could, tent camping along the way. Here is our story!

Medford, Oregon

It was starting to get dark as we left Crater Lake, and we set out for our next destination, Redwood National Park in California.  We had hoped to camp in Crescent City, but we got so far behind schedule when we got lost this morning, we only made it as far as Medford.  We found a KOA there, they had no more tent sites available, but the manager gave us a vacant RV site for the tent price, that was nice of him!  We made pork chops for dinner on the camp stove. It was a nice, warm night, so Tyler decided to sleep on the ground on his sleeping mat instead of setting up his tent. It was a very dark, starry night.
