After exploring the wonders of Yellowstone, we headed off to nearby Grand Tetons National Park. Just seven miles south of Yellowstone, these majestic mountains create a skyline that is a photographers dream. Unfortunately, my camera inexplicably stopped working the night before, and I had to take all my shots with the camcorder. Just not as sharp! I'll definately have to stop somewhere and either get this camera fixed, or buy a new one. Not going to do the rest of this trip without a functioning camera!!
The area around Jackson Hole is nature at its best. The jagged mountaintops were shaped by glaciers, which can still be seen near the peaks. This is a relatively young mountain range in geologic terms, so the peaks are still as sharp as on the drawings you used to make in kindergarten! The lake and the wildlife only compliment the scenery.
