Starting to piss me off
Elmarie finally calls me back in my cabin a day later to tell me that there is nothing they can do. They don't have any other speakers and that corporate did not send those specifications over to them on the ship. I am of course pissed off about hearing this but I keep my composure an suggest they give us a more suitable space. Elmarie is adamant about that being an impossibility. I go on and on about there inability to accomodate my group and at the end of the conversation nothing has changed.
So I march down into the never ending information line to voice my concerns with someone over little Ms. Snide Elmarie. The person at the information desk must have taken my request to speak to Elmarie manager as a request to speak to her and Elmarie A S S again. I am not happy when she walks her over to me. And after letting her know that when I ask for someone specifically not to bring me the very person I plan on reporting I go to let Elmarie know that I am very dissapointed with the lack of even an attempt to better accomodate our group. I am fuming at the fact that I must tell my guests that we do not have adequate space for or events. Anywa I rant on and on and I truly hate when I have to become a b*tch to get things done but it is amazing how people's reaction to changes when you are ready to cut throats and head straight to the head honcho.
The result:Amazingly the lounge I had mentioned on the first day is now available! Amazing! (Please read that as sarcasm) We set up and that night goes on flawessly. People came had a good time and jammed the night away. Per my request a letter was sent to each and every guest letting them know of the changes.
