Back in Ilocandia after five years, falling inlove with the place all over again, and burning myself badly in the process :D

Being Punctual Comes With a Price

On this trip, Hanie a.k.a. Steph was supposed to come with me, but she decided to back out for some reason. Actually, the reason was laziness, plain and simple. One that I can totally empathize with.

So, in place of Hanie, my new travel companion was Nina and her friend Andrew. Unlike me, those two lived normal lives, meaning they work during the day and sleep at night. So, because my leave from work was Friday night, they went ahead of me on Thursday night so they could do some sightseeing the next day while I was still in Manila, supposedly sleeping but rather, doing some last-minute stuff for the trip.

My flight was supposed to be at 6.20PM, but Cebu Pacific being themselves, the flight was delayed for 15-20 minutes. I did get to the airport on time, so it didn't make any difference to me. Besides, I booked this flight months ago, and for only P699 (around USD5), so I ain't complaining.

The cheaper the fare, the longer the delay. Rule of thumb.
