Back to the UK

A 2-week trip to Provence, taking in the sights of several towns in the area, as well as beautiful Mediterranean scenery. I had been 2 years before but left out the more western parts, so this trip tried to fill those gaps.

Back to the UK

Getting back to the UK really revealed just how small Nimes airport is. The arrivals hall is also where you go for departures, which is not necessarily surprising. But there was only a tiny kiosk and one small cafe before passport control so we decided to try and get some drinks but then see whether we could stock up more at the duty free. What a silly idea. After passport control you get directly to the waiting room for gates 1,2 and 3, which has about 25 seats and a drinks vending machine - that's it. Made me smile :) After cueing at the "gate", which was really ore like patio doors onto the runway, we got on board and were on our way back to the UK. In comparison to Nimes, Luton is absolutely HUGE. But I think I'd still prefer Nimes, it was just so cute and compact.
