Ohio Rest Stop
Left New Rochelle, NY at about 0400hrs. The Delaware Water Gap Region was as beautiful as ever! Only damper going through it was the heavy and cold, cold fog. After several hours of riding through it- I found myself shivering uncontrollably and spent a good half hour in a diner warming myself with liquids to raise my core temperature. There is absolutely no where on the eastern corridor that is as beautiful as the Matamoras area! It was amazing how slowly the land just started to fold flat. Stopped mainly to refuel. Can't say I had much conversation with the locals. They were pleasant enough, but reserved. That night I stayed the night in a Motel 6. A very clean place with reasonable rates. I think I drove the lady at the front desk crazy... but she took it in stride. Already spotted one motorcycle with the rider heading out on his own road trip.
