Am i too fast?

My europe route :)

 The First and last Border

I dont even know how to start to write this blog but i will try to explain european cities i traveled. If you also want to travel europe maybe and hopefully this blog be helpful for you ;)  you should just see the photos i took and decide where to see ;). I had a crazy europe travel plan and it was so tiring but i really enjoyed it, my first intention was taking photos around europe and i took almost 3000 photos there, so i will share my europe photos here,  besides i will try to tell some of my experiences i encountered there, anyways lets start, and enjoy :).....

As you can see at the first picture i had a crazy hard europe travel plan in such a short time, hmm i traveled 18 european countries in 40 days :D funny but thats right,  about 25 cities in 40 days and  18  of them was capital cities of europe :).
Bled, Slovenia
....

Why did i traveled so fast? actually i dont even know the answwer of that but probably i dont like to stay 2 days in a city if i know that i can handle it in one day, ok ok i admit it was a silly answer :) then probably i wanna see whole world and there are so much places to see in 1 life so we need to be fast ;).....

In my opinion  traveling arund europe in such short time can be so boring for lots of people because cities are similar and people are hmm similar (no offense pls :D) so you can really get bored, my intention was taking photos there and i didnt get bored (actually i got bored lots of times especially after my camera was stolen in barcelona, anyways i ll tell you about it later ;).....

My favourites cities or places;

Stockholm (Gambla stan) Stockholm just reminded me Istanbul, they have so much common points But still Istanbul is my number one, there is no any place like Bosphorus, Istanbul on the world i guess :).
Stockholm

Paris (City center) If you dont go out of the city you can think that this city has a great infrastructure but actually some of sburbs was really terrible, it can be also dangerous at nights but im not sure i just heard it is :) but the city center was so nice, i dont know how it types but i guess its "champs elysee" was so nice as well, so richy :D  and everybody knows Eiffel dont need to mention...._________________

Rome (You will see history everwhere) if you are a history lover, its the best place to visit but it can be really boring to see so much history after a while but i like the Rome....___________________________________

Slovenia (Especially Bled) I also like this small and cosy country, we traveled this country by bike and went to Bled from ljubljana, its ne of the best places of europe to go if you are a green and nature lover :)....________________________________

Copenhagen Maybe not like Stockholm but Copenhagen was also a nice place for me, i really enjoyed taking photos there, weather was perfect that time im there and we biked many hours again as usual :D.

I can also recommend you to make a free things to do in europe; I'm sure you're tired of the well-worn cliche that says "the best things in life are free.

Berlin
" But consider that most overworked phrases earn their status because they deal in truth. I find when I travel that the most memorable sights and experiences usually involve no admission charge. Here are 10 such places (in no particular order) linked from other About travel sites. Find them and enjoy!

1. A Free and Spectacular View of Paris

Many visitors to Paris are discouraged to find out the trip to the top of Eiffel Tower involves not only a lengthy line, but also a hefty price. But there is a better view of Paris available at no charge at the base of Sacre Coeur atop Montmartre. You'll pay a small fee to ascend the basilica (by foot), but the views from the top of the steps leading into the cathedral are breathtaking.

2. London's Changing of the Guard

The Queen's Guard in London changes in the Forecourt inside the gates of Buckingham Palace at 11.
Paris
30 a.m. every day during the summer months and on alternating days in the winter. Although it's free to view, you might want to invest some time to get there early enough for a good vantage point. This might be Europe's most popular free attraction, and the crowds can be huge.

3. A Tour of the Rijksmuseum Gardens in Amsterdam

Many visitors to Amsterdam are disappointed to learn that most of the famous Rijksmuseum is closed for extensive renovations. While it continues, you can visit the museum's gardens. A free printed guide will point out some art treasures that cannot be seen elsewhere at any price, let alone for free. Please note that the garden is not open on weekends.

4. The Roman Forum

You grew up seeing it in your history textbooks, but in Rome it comes alive at no cost.
Athens
This was the central marketplace in ancient times, and it is well worth the time to wander the area and imagine what life was like in those days.

5. London's Tate Modern and Borough Food Markets

These two attractions are located alongside one another. Tate Modern offers interesting (some say outrageous) art, while the markets are a fun place to browse on Fridays and Saturdays. Why not pick up an inexpensive picnic lunch in the markets and make a budget day of it?

6. Paris' Notre Dame Cathedral

You don't have to be a student of architecture to appreciate this magnificent structure, generally regarded among the most beautiful on earth. You don't need money to enter and walk the inside unless you decide to climb the towers or visit the museum.
Bled, Slovenia
It is a wonderful Paris experience. One warning: In summer, you might have to invest a lot of time waiting in line to get inside Notre Dame.

7. Westminster Abbey in London

There are admission fees for Westminster Abbey, but those who choose to worship here can see the inside for free. Evensong is at 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, plus at 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. These are your opportunities to hear the Abbey Choir perform.

8. A Free Ferry ride in Amsterdam harbor

Boat tours in Amsterdam can be quite pricey. But one of the more revealing trips can be yours at no cost. You can traverse the older part of the Amsterdam port on a free ferry available behind the Centraal rail station.
Warsaw
It's a short ride, but it might be a nice change of pace after a day of walking through the sites.

9. Scandinavia's Natural Phenomena

The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis, the Midnight Sun and the Polar Nights are three things you won't want to miss in Scandinavia, depending upon the timing of your visit. Although getting to Scandinavia countries can be expensive, consider these three natural treasures handsome dividends on your investment.

10. Fashion Gawking in Paris

Paris fashions hardly fit into a directory of free or inexpensive things to see, but remember that looking never costs you anything. Rue de Faubourg St. Honore or the nearby Avenue Montaigne are places to see the latest fashions and the best shoppers in action.
Rome

--------- Some City Informations -----------

Athens is not what it used to be. It is better. What they have done to Athens to prepare for the Olympics is turn a city, known for its faults as much as its assets, into one of the most walkable, livable, exciting, art, music and entertainment centers in the world. By unifying all the antiquities with parks and pedestrian streets and avenues and tying them in with the nightlife areas of the plaka. they have created a model that other cities are sure to follow. With the new highways that divert traffic from the downtown they have not only made the city streets safer and the air cleaner but they have made it easier to get in and out of town by car, bus or taxi. The new metro makes the trip to the airport and the port easier and opens up new neighborhoods to visitors who used to be confined to an island downtown surrounding the acropolis The coastal tram means you can get on one of the new air-conditioned light-rail cars and go to the beach, or shop and have dinner in the coastal suburbs.

Thesaloniki/Greece
Athens is no longer a city that it takes awhile to get-to-know before you actually like it. Athens is entering a second Golden Age. The museums and galleries are renovated, air-conditioned and bigger and better with more opening every week. The streets are clean, hotels have all been renovated and restored, many made accessable to the disabled. The restourants  tavernas, cafesstay open late and as many who came for the olympics discovered, ATHENS ROCKS like no other city on earth. And if you prefer a more quiet Athens there are parksand quiet neighborhoods that will suit you too. What this means is that anytime of the year Athens is entertaining, whether it is your stop-off on the way to and from the greek islands in the summer or if you visit during the 3 other seasons and use it as your base for daytrips to explore the mainland. Athens has something for everybody and suddenly the Athenians have good reason to be proud of their city.....

Madrid  is the capital and largest city of spain. It is the 3.

Ljubljana
biggest city in the  EU after london and berlin, The city is located on the river manzanares both in the centre of the country and community of madrid (which comprises the city of Madrid, its subsequent conurbation and extended suburbs and villages). Ljubljana  is the largest and vapital city of slovenia. It is located in the center of the country and is a mid-sized city of some 270,000 inhabitants. Ljubljana is regarded as the cultural, scientific, economic, political and administrative center of Slovenia, independent since 1991.

Amsterdam
Throughout its history, it has been influenced by its geographic position at the crossroads of german, latin and slavic cultures. Its transport connections, concentration of industry, scientific and research institutions and industrial tradition are contributing factors to its leading economic position. Ljubljana is the seat of the central government of Slovenia. It is also the seat of parliement and of the Office of the president........

Thessaloniki is undoubtedly the centre not only of northern Greece but of the entire Balkans -as it has been since the time of the birth of Christ. It is an administrative and commercial centre with its own distinctive intellectual and artistic personality, and it serves as a major cosmopolitan crossroads whose cultural influence is far-reaching. It is only 150 km from the most distant point of Chalkidiki, and there is an excellent network of main roads leading there.....

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is located at the North-East of Spain on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Strassburg
The city is placed between the Collserola ridge and the coast. Its location on the shores means that it enjoys a warm, welcoming weather and pleasant temperatures all year round. Barcelona is located on the European Union's Mediterranean curve. It is Spain 's second most important city, and the economic and administrative capital of Catalonia. It has a population of 1,5 million inhabitants, and when we add this figure to the population ot its metropolitan area this gives us a total of 4,3 millions. Throughout its history it has consolidated its reputation as a major centre for industry, business and services. Barcelona continues to be an open, integrational city. At present, the city's clear vocation is to play an active role on the world stage. Within the framework of the European Union, Barcelona tends to give impetus to the economic area of the Mediterranean....

Amsterdam, Although the seat of Netherlands government is in The Hague, Amsterdam is the nominal capital. It is also the country's largest city, with a population of more than 750,000, and the most visited, with over 3,5 million foreign visitors a year.

Offenburg
The Netherlands is a country situated in Western Europe, bordering Belgium to the south and Germany to the east. To its north and west is the North Sea. Although the Netherlands is the country's official name, people often call it Holland. The provinces of North Holland and South Holland form only part of the Netherlands....

Berlin is the capital city and seat of government of united Germany. Reunification in 1990 ensured that Berlin began to emerge from the ravages of post-war Europe as an exciting and dynamic force in the German political and economic arena. 'New Berlin' is at the heart of commercial growth, with many corporations basing their headquarters in this international metropolis. Major construction projects are underway to redevelop areas like Potsdamer Platz, which already has over 120 shops, 20 cinemas (including one IMAX) and a musical theatre. Stylish Kurfürstendamm is a 3.5-kilometre (2-mile) boulevard filled with superb hotels, fashionable restaurants, cafes and boutiques....

Vienna is an ideal-typical European city similar to Barcelona, London, Milan, Paris or Rome, but unlike the others it is very compact and easy to negotiate.
venice
Vienna is referred to by many as a unique onion, with each of the urban layers surrounding the oldest historic center being equally important to the overall flavor of the city. The Austrian capital therefore embraces all the traditions of a European city, from Roman foundations through to Gothic, Baroque and Historicism. Tourists are eager to visit Vienna because of the city's exciting combination of the royal-imperial flair of the past with the latest trends, the responsible cultivation of a precious heritage and charming traditions. But much more than old buildings turn Vienna into a city of beauty: one also finds excellent museums, fine art collections and world-renowned works of art in the city. Vienna boasts 50 theaters, including three opera houses and two theaters staging musicals, 100 museums....

Stockholm has about 2 million inhabitants, if we consider the whole metropolitan area. The city therefore needs a good transportation system to carry all this people up and down. In fact, it has a rather, let’s say, efficient commuting system. The city has 3 underground lines that basically cover the entire centre and stretches towards the suburban areas.
Vienna
The underground system, in Swedish ‘tunnelbana’ (or T-bana), is fast, punctual and practical. Wherever you are within the city perimeter it is most likely that there will be a station nearby.
Before taking off for a day-trip it is useful to visit www.sl.se, click on journey planner and let the Stockholm Transport’s website do the hard work for you. It is really useful if you do not know which bus or train to get in order to visit a tourist site or to get access to Stockholm University campus. You can choose the departure/arrival time, and the website will tell you exactly when you should leave your hotel, what time is your connection train (or bus) and how to get to your destination.

Very impressive. Before reading your crazy europe's trip, I was thinking of doing something similar (maybe with less time and less city to visit) going from Paris and driving to the east europe.
Now you really made me want to do it!
