Pre-Meet @ Blue Martini Lounge

Melanie started this meet up as part of an initial request from Chris (www.travbuddy.com/aussieguy) who was supposed to be in the Las Vegas area in mid September. It turns out; he was not able to attend for reasons best known to him and Melanie probably? I’m assuming. I on the other hand had no intentions of attending this particular meet because I was supposed to have gone to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As luck might have it, all my Brazil plans fell down the drain and I found myself left with two weekends in a row with nothing to do. I went to the broomcorn festival and then decided why not Vegas?

So here I’m at the end of it all thinking, wow! It was an incredible get together. I flew southwest airlines, which is the airline of choice: being a Rapids reward member, I always get great treatment and great fares. I literally booked my flight a week before travel and the rest fell in place. I must say, this meet up was incredible because I met so many newer Travbuddies and all the ones I know from previous meets,  always that warm feeling.
