Bit of a Do

My Aunty (Margaret) lives in Bunbury, I shoot over and see her fairly regularly I suppose, so I'm pretty comfortable staying at her place.
We were expecting a big turnout for Nana's party and that included my brother and his wife and son. They were staying in a nearby camp ground where they'd rented a cabin, so it was just Ma and I hangin' with Margaret.
I have a cousin (David) who lives in Bunbury as well. I hadn't seen him since my last in 2000. He and I were pretty much doing all the running around collecting things, punch bowls, drinks, fridges, chairs and tables etc prior to the party so we had plenty of time to catch up with each other.
Finally the afternoon of the shindig arrived.
Most of the guests were friends of Margaret's who had known Nana when she was staying at the house. Of course David had all his family there and our lot from NZ.
It was a lovely Bunbury day and everyone had a good time chatting, eating, singing Happy Birthday, drinking and playing Boules on the grass. No-one had more fun than the old girl though and after several photographs with all the differnt groups that were so inclinded, she was taken back to the home loaded with cake and balloons for the other residents, where she would have had a fabulous time reliving every moment of it all for the next week at least!
