§       Day of departure, but not until 6:45p

§       Had half a day to squeeze last minute sight-seeing

§       Slept in late and then packed my luggage (bought at Costco!! gotta love Costco)……off course, I didn’t pack much

§       Phoned the airline baggage claim, still no sign of my luggage…….was instructed to stop by and fill out an insurance form

§       Ate left over pancakes and a huge block of Spam Masubi

§       Went to see the Kilauea Lighthouse

§       Another site of interest is the Russian Fort Elizabeth, which we had to pass because I will run late if we stopped

§       Then went to Waimea Canyon……….another must see vista!!!!!! It certainly earns the title of “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific”!!!!!Majestic!!!

§       Had 2 ½ hours to spare when I arrived at the airport. Picked up my claims forms and then checked in my luggage, worried.

§       Half the plane was empty of passengers….had a whole row of open seats to myself…..managed to get some sleep after the take-off

§       Arrived home fine……..new luggage in tow

§       Oh tired
