Plan in advance... hmm

So, we're off tomorrow for a week Melbourne.

A virginal experience for myself as I've never been further than Adelaide from Perth. Whenever I look at going to the Eastern States, it always seems cheaper to head to Asia... so that's where I go.

This trip is a going to be a mix of things. See the brother-in-law in one thing on the list; we'll even be staying with him for a few days. A large chunk of my time will be gallery-hopping and meeting fellow artists as I have a few exhibition invites that I'll be taking advantage of. Other than that, we're not sure what else to do... What is there in Melbourne? hmm

I guess we'll have to visit the Crown at some point... Can't imagine it being anything different to Bruswood though. A casino is a casino; no windows, busy carpet, and lots of bells ringing. In case you can't guess, it's not my scene... Even more so since Burswood started using a new shoe on the blackjack... Defeats all attempts at keeping mental notes ;)

There are a few things going on that I've looked at... Cricket, A-League semi-final... Guy Sebastian (?) ...Guy is sold out, Cricket is too expensive compared to WACA, and the A-League is plain crap. Although, if my out-of-date student card can get me a $15 entrance to Telstra Dome, I may just go :D

Anyways, I best pack my several items of clothing that will last me through the week.
