Home again
Not much to report for the last few days in Melbourne.
Basically, we just went shopping and lounged around a lot. So yeah, not much went on. Clothes shopping, grocery shopping to replace what we stole from Clint's fridge, and a bit of wandering finding things to eat.
Clothes shopping could be good in Melbourne. A lot of variety, and most things are reasonably priced. I didn't come with the intention of buying anything though, and didn't have the space.. so I just thought about what I could buy next time ;)
The flight home sucked. About a 20 minute delay on the ground when we were in the plane. The captain says "We have nearly repaired the minor engineering problem" ...Although I can't help but feel that most people would have heard "We have nearly repaired the minor engine problem". Hmm.
We arrived late in Perth as well. Not just because of the delay, but we had a really strong headwind I think... We were going so slow! The descent into Perth took the guy an hour. It's normally a 20 minute job. We came down at such a stupid angle, which was probably due to the turbulence at the lower altitude, but still. So yep, turbulence made for a jumpy and bouncy descent and landing, which I don't mind... It just took so long!
And now we're at home again. Super... Back to the real world on Monday...
