Sunday came way too fast and it was already time to say a fond farewell to Jenn and Tracy...but not before taking the Palm Springs
Aerial Tramway to the top of Mt. San Jacinto almost vertically 2 miles up and 45 degrees cooler!! This is the coolest thing EVER!! The Tram Cars rotate while going up the mountain so EVERYONE gets a great view!! They were constructed in Thun, Switzerland and are the largest of their kind in the world! Have a look at the cool video footage I got and see the great views! At the top of the mountain about 10 minutes later we went from a HOT desert heat of 110 degrees to a crisp cool 65 Alpine degrees! Jenn, Tracy and I had a short hike and photo shoot but I had to cut things short to get going back to Vegas. I was taking a remote back way home through the Mojave desert and wanted to do most of it while it was daylight outside. So with a DEAD cell phone and a full tank of gas I made my way out of Palm Springs and back to Vegas. Along the way I stopped a few times and took some cool shots of the sunset then detoured on a dirt road to do a little unobstructed sky watching after dark...that was amazing and also scary! I got a few shots of a far off desert lightning storm as an added bonus! Hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them!
