Valentines Day; it ends here

Valentine’s Day… and home we go.

A touch of breakfast and head off into BSB for a last minute look around. Check out a few things that we’d found on the map that could be interesting.

Basically, we just wandered, and ate a spot of early lunch before getting back to the hotel and off to the airport.

Hopefully everything runs more efficiently than on arrival.

It does.

We get on the Royal Brunei for the trip home… no upgrade this time, hmm.

Instead, a downgrade.

I find out straight away that my headrest is broken and won’t stay up… so I guess I’ll come close to breaking my neck on the way home :P

Also, a full flight, so I can’t change. And so full that these idiots haven’t been told about the cabin baggage limits. They have those large shopping bags that people can buy with a capacity of like 50L all over the place. There seriously isn’t enough space for all the luggage. Some people that have a right to stow stuff above their seat have had that right taken away by morons and lazy staff. Luckily we were on the plane before these that all came from a connecting flight.

Anyway, away we go.

And about 75 minutes into the flight… My TV dies, and they can’t fix it.

I sit in bored silence for the next 4 hours or so. No TV and an inability to rest m head due to the headrest.

Royal Brunei… two sides to the coin.

Aw, your honeymoon ended on V-day, how sweet! :)

But, that really sucks about the flight. I've had that happen to me as well...

The title of this cracked me up "Valentine's Day it ends here". I have the same pet peeve with overhead stows.I"m an admitted inappropriate packer but I do that in my checked luggage so I don't have to lug crap and it sucks to no be able to have you're little backpack in your overhead b/c someone else has 2-3 bags! :(
