Sabah and Brunei. Orangutans, island-hopping, mountain-gazing, mosques, and a playground.

Leaving home

Well, the last few days have been pretty hectic, as you can imagine.

A wedding and spending as much time with friends and family that travelled from interstate and overseas for said wedding before they head home again. The wedding itself went all to plan, the day was great - although pretty windy on the river - and everybody had a great time.

In amongst all of this, we've actually managed to find time to pack, and tomorrow we're off for 10 days to Borneo; mostly Sabah, but 2 days/1 night in Brunei on the way home - specifically for Mosques and Jerudong Playground.

Sabah itself should be good fun, with the highlight undoubtedly going to be a visit to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre... I have plenty of film with me for this :D

The one downside to this trip... I don't think I'll get the chance to tackle Mt Kinabalu - SE Asia's highest peak at 4095m.

C'est la vie.
