Cutest macarons from Dalloyau
This morning, we went to Place de Vosges which is a great place to relax and people watch.  We stopped in the patisserie, Dalloyau, where we got macarons, croissants, and the CUTEST macarons with faces on them.  We ate our goodies in the Jardin de Tuileries, another great place to relax and people watch (especially if you can get one of the chairs around the fountain).

Meeting the French -- we took the Gérard Mulot patisserie tour and we loved it!!!  We got to go behind-the-scenes in their kitchen and see them make chocolates, pastries, and macarons.   It is a great concept and I definitely recommend it if you're interested in meeting Parisians who are passionate about their work and are willing to share it with you.  It was so inspiring and wonderful to experience.  The tours are mostly in English and the group size is kept quite small, so you get to see things up close and personal.  We even got to taste test different chocolates and macarons :)  I cannot recommend it enough!

We bought a baguette, jamon, cheese, and wine to eat at Montmarte/Sacre Couer while we watched the sunset.  What a beautiful view of Paris!!!
