on a train Vilnius-Moscow
i travel to moscow all my life, since i can remember myself - cause i was born there and my father lived there. usually i go there by train. and actually, trains havent changed much - they are the same as in my early childhood. only the upholstery is new and  also now they serve tea and coffee in dsiposable cups instead of cool soviet glasses with glass holders. :)
i prefer traveling to moscow by train - cause its more romantic or well... at least more old fashioned than going by plane. :) of course its much longer: vilnius-moscow takes 15 hours. i cant say that it super comfortable trip - but i really like it. :)
i need russian visa and belarussian transit visa - cause i crossed Belarus.
on my way to moscow i was sharing my compartment with russian-lithuanian girl from vilnius and i seduced her to drink some beer. we had veeeery long walking to wagon-restaurant, we had to walk through at least 7 wagons and back. it was real fun. :) cause train is shaking and swinging. :) on my way back to lithuania my neighbour was a man from  kazakhstan, unfortunately not borat. so i didnt offer him to have some beer. :)
its definitely worth to try train ride to moscow or any other post-soviet railway. :) its like little time travel back. :)
