Old, ugly hair
Today I got my hair cut!!! I was so nervous, because I have had really long hair for my whole life, and so the idea of chopping most of it off like I’m always threatening to do, was a big deal. Nikki accompanied me to this nice place in Southgate (Hollywood Hair, I think it was called), and they gave us tea, and lounged around while I shed my long locks. I thought it would be a nice thing to do before I went back to California. I feel so different inside that I want to feel different on the outside, too! Then we had a celebratory lunch next door at the pizza place and chatted for a good long time.
In the evening we celebrated Greg’s last night (and the greeting of MORE of Nikki’s visiting friends) by hanging out at Flat 50 with the whole gang and ate a TON of food. And cake. It was a good time. Everyone was pretty sad, though.
