Goodbye to Greg!

Second semester. A continuation of my previous blog about studying in London.

Goodbye to Greg!

Today was a crazy day, because I had to say goodbye to Greg, AND I had to leave for Prague. In the morning we walked through Trent Park to Miracles up on Cockfosters in Barnet for a big send-off breakfast (delicious as always). It was really hard saying goodbye. Saying goodbye sucks. Majorly. Afterwards we had to say goodbye at the tube station because he had an early flight and I had to go home and finish packing to go to PRAGUE! BY MYSELF! So many emotions... . It was really sad, though. I don’t think I was very successful at holding back tears. It was a hard goodbye not only because we had become so close in the past year and knew (living on opposite sides of our very large country) that we wouldn’t see each other very often, but because this, for me, signified the true beginning of the end of my life in this country. And that, after nine months, is a difficult thing to grapple with.
