Santorini

Next stop, Santorini!! We were so excited to get to this island. We took Blue Star Ferries and it took about 2 hours from Naxos. On this ferry, there were no assigned seats like Hellenic Seaways. So everyone was sprawled out. I even saw people sleeping on the floor.

As soon as we arrived, there was a massive crowd at the port. We tried to find a sign with our hotel name. We stayed at Loizos Apartments in Fira. It's a very nice hotel. It's a short walk to town and close to the bus station. We dropped off our luggage and then went to the bus station to go to Oia. I couldn't wait to see the sunset that everyone talks about. We headed down the steps towards Ammoudi Bay. I made the mistake of wearing heels. Big mistake! Girls, bring flats because you will be walking on a rocky surface. My friend and I had dinner at Sunset Taverna and watched the sunset. Oia is such a couples destination! We were the only two girls there. Everyone else was with their significant other. Regardless, the sunset was absolutely beautiful!
