Next day, after breakfast we walked towards Palatia Sanctuary of Delian Apollo. It's right next to the port so it was easy to get to.

After that, we decided to rent another ATV and drive to the village of Apollonoas to see the "Kouros" (male statue) lying on the ground. It is a large statue made of marble. It is about 10.45 meters high and is dated at the beginning of the 6th century B.C.

Next, we were off to see the Bazeos castle. It is several kilometers outside of Naxos town. So, riding in an ATV was great because we could get around anywhere we wanted. The entrance to the castle, which was more of a tower, was 4 euros.

After our mini excursions, we decided to go to the beach again. We went south to Plaka beach. Even though we arrived in the late afternoon, we would have to pay 8 euros for a sunbed. We decided just to lay on our towels since we weren't going to be there for that long.

After the beach, we went back to our hotel and asked the owners a recommendation for dinner. It's always a good idea to ask the hotel reception for recommendations for places to eat. At dinner, my friend and I discovered Mythos. It's a greek beer. Very cool and refreshing. I love this beer.
