off again....
We settled back into life in KL like we'd never been away, shopping, eating, drinking, swimming in the pool and sleeping, it's all so very easy and very relaxing after a little time away. Christmas eve was spent in Calcedo restaurant, famous for it's suckling pigs ( A little harsh I thought the waitresses weren't that ugly really!!! HAHA ) It was a great evening of food and drinking but it was difficullt getting into the crimbo spirit away from all you guys back in Wittering, how sad are we hey???? we missed you all, don't think we'll be away for Christmas again.
Xmas day we prepared a buffet, soy and garlic chicken, massive prawns, salmon, snags, cold meats, loads of salad and other yummy things and obviously plenty of booze, everyone loved it and even santa found us, bringing me a portable DVD player and a watch and Ria an i phone and a guitar - anyone wanna join our band????? we're gonna be massive!!!!!!

Jenna and Dan arrived on the 27th for two weeks of sun and adventure and we whisked them straight out to The Ship in KL ' the home of the best steak in town ' where downstairs in the main restaurant captains serve the tables, admirals serve the wine ............ not quite sure what Roger the cabin boy was serving !!! Upstairs is the home of the Sexy Diva's , a troupe of 'girls' formerly known as boys or as the cabaret diva later told us... not boys....not ladies .....but lady boys,........... chicks with dicks,..................beautiful people with both the Twin Towers, the Singapore Tower and Batu cave beneath their frocks!!!! What a night we had , they were fantastic, transexuals or not they were pretty stunning, the dancing was amazing, the jokes funny and there was plenty of booze flying around, we even all had a boogie, it was a shame when it was time to leave at 3.
Next day, after a little bit of a sluggish start we were on the road and heading to Port Douglas to have a bit of a run on the beach, unfortunately most of Malaysia had the same idea and so most of the day was spent in the car!!!!! We did have a nice lunch and a ten minute blast on the beach though and it was a nice change from the city and we got afew nice shells too, oh yes.
Dan and Jenna were off again the next day, heading for Langkawi for new year, we've booked our flight too and meet them there on the 2nd before another trip to Koh Lipe PARP PARP POOP POOP!!! Before that though we had a few days milling aroung KL seeing some more sights, and also headed to Melaka for the day, now theres an odd city, seems to be famous simply because its been invaded so many times, they've even taken the KL eye own there and put it by the sea in prime view of pretty much nothing!!!! Weird !!!! We had a bike tour of the city , saw all it's tourist attractions and bought some odd cowboy souveniers.
We've sorted the next leg of our trip, Fly to Siem Riep on the 14th and make our way through Cambodge into Nam, smell some napalm in the morning, watch Charlie surf, oh no they don't do that do they, then fly out of Ho Chi Minge on the 5th ,the day of Crow, land in Bangers, head down to Langkawi fly from there back to Koh Yipppppeeeeeeee yet again then back to Lankers and fly to KL then on to Singers and on again to Perth....wow bit hectic huh?????????????????
New Years Eve and we booked a table at the base of Petronas Towers, a few beers at home and then a taxi whisked us off at 7. 15 ( shit it's gonna be a boozy affair )and it was, lashings and lashings of ginger beer, vodka, rum , fireworks and partying.
We're off again now to go and meet Dan and Jenna , see you when we get back............HAPPY NEW YEAR....WOOP WOOP PARP PARP DONG DONG DONG BANG KAPOOW WHOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
