and now the neighbours can really crack open the champagne...
No time to rest once we're back in the big bad city of KL, it's Dan and Jenna's last night so it's a mad dash back to base in a taxi from the airport and Ria and Dan are straight into the shower ( seperate showers...but at the same time ) and out the door with Dave by 5 for a few family bevvies. The rest of us join them at 7 in Buchat District - one massive road of bars - and the night starts in style with Jagermeisters for the boys and Tequila for the girls ( surely this can't be a good idea??? ) then it's onto the frozen Margareitas, long island ice teas and beer towers. As you can imagine we're all quite relaxed when we make our way to our fav restaurant - Bom Brazilia - for huge skewers of beef, chicken, lamb and sausage, salad and yet more booze!!!
After drinking our own weight in beer and Andy's old weight in meat (HA hA), we decide the sensible thing to do is obviously to get home asap, make super strong cocktails ( as we obviously hadn't drunk enough!! ) and go for a swim in the pool.
Around 3 o clock and after making certain Dave and Christy are never spoken to by their neighbours ever again it's time for bed......if we can stop it spinning long enough that is!!!
Next day it's Santinis for hangover lunches, a quick trip to the mall and an even quicker swim, then it's to the airport. Ria cries, the air stewardesses look scared and as the plane takes off all the neighbours breath a big sigh of relief!!!!!!
The next few days are really quiet after the weekends binge ánd it's early nights and preparation for departure for us. We've had the best time in KL it's been great fun but now it's back to reality for us and on with the travelling. Cold showers, hard beds, and cockroaches here we come, cant say we've missed you but ít's gonna be fun, Cambodia here we come....
