What a hectic time we've had here. In and out in just over three days Crow and Pops don't know whats hit them!!!!!
God Bangkok is busy and humid as hell...............it hasn't stopped the shopping though. POOP POOP
We flew in on the 6th and went straight to the Ko San Palace, threw our bags into the room and got straight into the pool, a couple of hours in there, a quick fry , a fantastic noodle soup ( oh how I've missed you!! and what a good one, championship winning material, good veggies, tender meat, flavoursome broth, good quality chopsticks, wooden ones none of that plastic rubbish where you can't pick anything up, artistic interpretation high, effort good, Russian judge says 8.5 crowd hold their breath and the english judge awards a.
Next day it's a bit hazy, in our heads that is , the weather is great, hot and sunny and today we;re off to the airport to collect the olds!!!!!! Sweetpea is finding it hard to contain the excitement at seeing the crow and Pops ( Crow = her mum Karen, Pops = Karen's bloke Chris, also known as Coco ( see pops ), Alco (same reason ) and Oddjob ( not going into this one!!!! ) , so the morning is spent visiting various toilets around Khao san and killing time before their plane arrives.
The haze is there again this morning but no time to waste we're leaving tonight for Krabi, no trains as they're all fully booked so it's the peasant wagon for us!!!!! First thing, coffee time then a stroll down to the river, with a few more coffee stops for the crow, a river boat ride to the grand palace then on to Wat Po and the reclining buddah ( he really is lazy, this is our second visit and he's been on his back both times ).
