What the hell
My god, where have we arrived? We got off the train into a seathing mass of screaming taxi/tuk-tuk/rickshaw drivers all clamouring for our attention ( money ) - absolutely mental !!!!
A couple of Indian guys who we met at Mumbai station helped us to secure a good deal, much to the dismay of the driver, and we're off through an apparent war zone, god knows whats happened to the place but it's like a bombs dropped on it!!!
we got to our guest house - Athiti Guest house - and settle in. It's great value, a lovely room, loads of hot water and a fantastic roof top terrace- excellent and only 650 rupees.
We have a fantastic meal next door ( curry again - yummy!!), and do some sun bathing, which seems tad naughty !!
Have a good scout around in the evening but after the train journey and early morning it seems too busy and uncomfortable so we head back home. All in all it's fair to say India doesn't stand still for long.
