Lipe , Lipe Lipe, was is their to be said that I haven't said before????? I haven't got the theasaurus with me and so have run out of superlatives for this place, it truly is the the most beautiful, relaxing island surely in the whole of the world!!!! We are so lucky to be here for the third time in three months!!!!
Crow and Pops love it as much as Dan and Jenna did and they finally get the chance to relax a little bit after the first few days of heckticness. It only took two and a half hours from Krabi to Pak Bara pier then about an hour in the boat to get here, we even had time to stop at a couple of other islands along the way for people to take photos!!!! We were lucky enough to get into Varin Resort 2 again, getting the last two bungies left, he's put the price up again though the sneaky bastard, 800 a night now, but still a steal for somewhere in paradise on the waters edge.
Our days have taken the same shape as ever here on Lipe, a lazy wake up, sun bathing, snorkelling and swimming during the day before drinks at sunset ( Karen has prooved a whizz at making Pina Coladas using empty water bottles and Chris and I have drunk our body weight in Sangers!!!!!!!!!! ) Then it's green cuzza, Pad thai and other treats for tea, can life get any better???????????????????????????????We even hired Kayaks one afternoon and went shooting around the islands just off shore...adventure peas idea obviously!!!! Pops is amazed at the fish he's seen and is rarely out of the water, popping up now and again for some aqua or to show us his finds, but apart from that it's in the drink for him, I think I even saw a dorsal fin appearing on his back the other day but I can't be sure it could have just been a bit of peelidge ( is that a word ?????? if it is I'm sure it's not spelt like that.
Just to keep you up to date on the soup situation, we've only had two here, yes I know, poor performance but you've gotta move on haven't you??? But for the record, the first one was in our favourite street stall here and didn't disappoint, a true blinder, full flavour, four different noodles, lots of veg and meat , garlic and various other unidentifiable erbs and spices all coming together in a taste sensation, possibly only second behind the soup we had here with Dan, there were 9.
Before we know it ( I'm sure I'm using this expression too much recently, before I know it i'm going to use it in every sentence!!!!!! ) it's time to move on, Langkawi is again our destination, and again it's only for one night. Lipe we love you, thanks for having us we're off now and this time we won't be back, well not this year anyway..............................
