in the Vatican city!
here in rome!! so i still am battling this cold, eww huh, but met this girl named elise in my room and she is from the states, currently living in germany and we decided to go out today together and see some stuff. we went to the vatican and pauls cathedral, wow i have never seen anything like that before. it is huge and so beautiful. there are a ton of nuns and priests around and to get inside u cannot be wearing anything above ur knees or have ur shoulders exposed, which was hard for people cause its blasted hot here! i have never sweat so much in my life. i think its a combination of me being kinda sick and also just plain hot. so after explring all that, which took the whole moring into the afternoon, we got some lunch and some gelato, i swear im eating it everyday here, its just that good, its not like normal ice cream. so then we saw the spanish steps and some more of rome, like statues and squares, just a ton of stuff here to do. afterwards we headed back to the hostel, which i needed a nap, i was seriously tired and feelin the cold. elise had to catch a train back to germany, so we said our goodbyes. i woke up a lil while later, sweating , eww there is no ac in my hostel, wtf, so last night sucked cause of that too. the good thing is my hostel has a free pasta dinner nights so that was so yummy, hell free food what more can i ask for. well im off tomrw going to hit some more things here in rome. later!
