MELBOURNE Australia’s cultural capital
My reasons to stay in Melbourne are to use it as a base for exploring surrounding regions such as Grampians National Park, explore wineries in the Yarra Valley and visit Dandenong ranges ,lazing on beaches on the Mornington Peninsula and drive the magnificent Great Ocean Road .
I spend my nightlifes in the parties scenes along Fitzroy Street with good international Restaurants and St Kilda who is famous for its beach life or in Bourke Street bar...
Otherwise, Melbourne has nothing to envy in Sydney! It is indeed a lot more animated and relaxed. In short, a city where life is good ... However, cities are not the major attraction of Australia even if they still worth a detour ...
Melbourne is the second-largest city in Australia and the capital of the south-eastern state of Victoria, located at the head of Port Phillip Bay. Melbourne boasts great events, a passion for food and wine and a fabulous arts scene, is generally regarded as Australia’s cultural capital.
