From Cartagena, Colombia I wanted to go to Panama City. was hopnig to do by bus and by suprise I was told it was impossible to pass the border that way. the only ways is to fly or by boat. i checked into y boat and it was a 3 day trip. Sounded really fun. For about $300.00 you share a small sailboat with about 7 people and they make a little cruise out of it. stopping at a couple of islands. i only had a week left on my trip and wanted to spend more time in Pamana. Taken the would would have only given me 3 days, yet it would have been a great experience. I took the plane instead for about the same money somehow I felt ripped off. it is much faster traveling but without the adventure.

ooh Karla. un bien dais o Panama City

arriving around 7 pm at the hostal. I checked in quickly and was ready to take a town around the neighborhood and find something to eat for dinner. Walking back to the hostel just before I had to turn the coener there was a little cafe andbeing about 10 pm I tought just one beer before bedtime sounded pretty good. Walking in there were about 5 people in the little place. One of them was a beautiful Colombian college girl named Karla. we chatted, did some shots, more beer and after she gave me her number I promised I would call her in the morning. why wouldn't I ? I've been known to make mistakes but not like that, lol. we met for  breakfast in the morning and Karla was ready to show me around the city. we had a late lunch by the boat club and our day was fun and well spend.

un dais Karla, vamos con bota por la mundo :)
Wed decided to take the bus out of town the next morning and go visit the beack for the next few days. My luck count not have been any better then that and I was all excited.  Next morning we took the taxi to the bus station, along the way we got her a bikini and a few snacks and we were ready to go. It took us a bit to find a hotel after stepping off the bus. with the wrong directions we ended up at a constuction site by the beach. One of the workers was nice enought to give us a ride no a nearby hotel and we were ready to relax by the water. For the next 4 days we lounged around. I did a bunmch of body surfing white Karla kept busy sipping wine. Between eating, drinking, partying, being in the water and spending intimate encounters together our leasy days were filled and fullfilled.
When we needed to leave I was looking to have to take a flight back to Texas in the early morning. My children are more important than anything else in life. Yet, sometimes you wonder. Why do we leave behind beautiful places and people that feel so right? My experience will give me fond memories of Panama. writing this now 2 years later and saying "Hi" once in a while to my friend Karla when we are on the internet at the same time. My heart still glows and the corners of my lips move upwards to make a big smile thinking of the time we had. still I am left to wonder when and if we will spend time together. If we get the change I know our time together would be just as much fun. Maybe this time Karla need to come to Texas.
