I always wanted to visit the Balkans by car and this summer we did it; Amongst others Shkodar in Albania, Mostar in Bosnia, Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Slovenia and the whole coast of Montenegro. My girlfriend Kaija and I started the car without any serious goals other than have a good time and see as much as possible - and so we did.
Restaurant Amigo
The restaurant is a part of the hotel of the same name. It is situated on the shore and the restaurant almost goes into the water.

The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor service and the first row of the indoor can almost be out door due to large sliding windows

The food here is excellent; they have a huge menu and the dishes vary from local fish and meat dishes to traditional cuisine. During our stays here we tasted the octopus salad and the Amigos salads which both were excellent and the shrimp cocktail which had too much mayo to my taste but still was good. We had following main dishes; the Zagreb steak, grilled lamb, sirloin with mushroom sauce all fabulous.

The service was very sweet and flawless; truly a great place.

All in all; great food, great service and reasonable prices.
