Danica Hotel Petrovac

I always wanted to visit the Balkans by car and this summer we did it; Amongst others Shkodar in Albania, Mostar in Bosnia, Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Slovenia and the whole coast of Montenegro. My girlfriend Kaija and I started the car without any serious goals other than have a good time and see as much as possible - and so we did.
Hotel Danica
The hotel is situated and the right end of the bay of Petrovac. It’s a fairly new hotel built in 2001 and not too expensive given the situation some 200 meters from the beach and in the quiet end of the city itself.

The people running the hotel are extremely nice and service minded. The hotel guest were a mix of all nationalities which were nice compared to rest of the town, which were for a majority of them Russian.

The hotel rooms were nice all with AC, fridge and really nice and spacious bathrooms. Behind the hotel there were a very small pool with beach chairs where we ended up after seeing how crowded the beach where at this place. We had to pay 85 euro a night which was fair, but almost the double of what was indicated in our travel guide.

All in all; a very nice hotel, run by sweet and service minded staff.
