The restaurant at Albergo Concordia

Carlazzo Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

I always wanted to visit the Balkans by car and this summer we did it; Amongst others Shkodar in Albania, Mostar in Bosnia, Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Slovenia and the whole coast of Montenegro. My girlfriend and I started the car without any serious goals other than have a good time and see as much as possible - and so we did.

If you go and eat locally in Italy you usually get great food especially if you end up in a restaurant where all the locals are spending their evening. Such a place is the restaurant at hotel Concordia in the village of Carlazzo

The kitchen is open until 22.30 but if you can satisfy yourself with pizzas they don’t stop this production before 1am, which gives you some flexibility if you are out enjoying the beautiful surrounding until late.

The restaurant is cosy and it has both indoor and outdoor service. The atmosphere is native Italian; the talk is intensive and there is a livelihood as in a Fellini movie.

The tables are nicely decorated with everything in yellow and the lightning is a many places in the Mediterranean area bright so people can see each other. Due to the bright light indoor; it is most cosy if you sit outside.

The food is very good and local. The menu opportunities are not enormous except of the numerous pizza variations. I had a mixed grill with tartar sauce with I really enjoyed.
