Castiglion Fiorentino from the valley

I transferred this over from my facebook since I've decided to use this site instead for the blog thing:

So I’ve been in Tuscany now for about 5 days and I gotta say life is real hard. I’m in a very picturesque town about an hour south of Florence. I’ve been in classes but they are more wine drinking information sessions than anything else. Meals are excellent and anyone who cooks knows that cooking well for 80 something people is not easy. Very simple, very good. I gotta say the transition has been pretty easy. I don’t find myself missing very miss-able things and people very often. Despite the lack of formal class time and work, we are all keeping busy and having a good time. The worst thing so far has been the watercoloring. Which in fact I happen to really suck at. So that is a big part of the not so fun-ness. I’ve posted some pictures in a new album of the town here and from our trip to Florence on Wed. It is currently time for another yummy meal, or so it smells. End of first blog ever, what do you think? How’d it go?

Arrivederci!
