The longest bus ride

A journey all around the continent, visiting some of the less travelled routes (if such routes still exist and I think them worth trying). The journey ends outside South America, the finish in western Canada.

The longest bus ride

So I´ve just arrived finally in Cordoba (8 hours bus ride north of Buenos Aires) after a 21 hour bus ride from Puerto Iguazu. Funnily enough, it wasn´t half as bad as I thought it would be, so I must really be getting more relaxed about my approach to long journeys. We watched 4 movies and saw some guys on our coach get busted at a police roadblock for carrying contraband electronics. And the beds, despite not being fully flat as expected, were very very comfortable with loads of leg room.

So now I´m in Cordoba and looking forward to three big weekend nights out, starting very very late as is the Argentine way. This will get my body clock used to Buenos Aires time.

Hasta luego!
